Biography
Vanesa brings over 15 years of experience working with national and international health and social justice non-profits as well as experience in public health research trials in a variety of hospital and community-based settings at the intersection of health and social behavior. Her portfolio of work has included strategies to address homelessness and affordable housing, food security, and other social needs of under-served and historically disenfranchised communities.
In addition to launching innovative programming and research on homelessness, she also has played a leading role in developing and implementing strategies and protocols to support people experiencing homelessness amidst COVID-19. Underlying all of her work and training is a commitment to health equity and social justice. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wesleyan University and a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been with Kaiser Permanente since 2014.

Biography
Camille Schraeder has dedicated her career to community engagement and advocacy for abused, neglected, and at-risk Children, Youth, and Families. Currently, she is the CEO of The Full Circle Health Network, a statewide Integrated Care Network to support behavioral health and community-based services as a subsidiary of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services.

Biography
At CHCF, Carlina works to improve access to care for Californians with low incomes. Previously, Carlina worked at the Women’s Community Clinic in San Francisco, where she served as the executive director for 17 years. She holds a master’s of science in health care administration from UCSF.

Biography
Kinisha is the Executive Director of Medi-Cal Care Coordination on the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Medicaid Care Delivery and Operations team. Her accountability includes complex care coordination, utilization management, strategy focused on complex youth, and partnerships with community-based partners that provide medical and non-medical social determinants of health services.

Biography
Maria Ramirez Perez is the Associate Director of Healthy Opportunities initiative at NC Medicaid. Maria’s experience with healthcare has focused on addressing health disparities by designing and implementing new programs with an emphasis on health-related social needs and social drivers of health.
Before working with NC Medicaid, she represented clients in public benefits appeals and led regional efforts for one of North Carolina's Medical-Legal Partnership and Healthcare Navigator programs to help North Carolinians access clinical care services.
Maria holds a Master of Public Health from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
