Session Overview

Contingency management (CM) has been proven to be an effective behavioral intervention to combat substance use disorders. However, it has only been primarily tested and delivered in clinic-based settings. Plymouth Housing will deliver CM outside a formal treatment environment in PSH to share learnings, successes, and challenges.

Aaliyah Bains serves as the Behavioral Health Program Manager at Plymouth Housing, a Permanent Supportive Housing organization in Seattle, Washington. In this role, she provides oversight for substance use disorders (SUD) services across all sites and the leads the Peer Support Specialist team.

Presenter

Huynh Chhor currently serves as the VP and Chief of Behavioral Health Integration at Plymouth Housing. She is responsible for creating the vision, planning, financing, implementation, and continuous improvement of behavioral health services and related health initiatives for residents living in Plymouth’s portfolio. She has over 13 years of experience in the medical and behavioral health sectors as a crisis responder and a substance use professional trainee in the community, a therapist/intake coordinator/utilization manager in the emergency department and on the inpatient psychiatric unit, and a medical unit float care manager and discharge planner. She’s had the opportunity to develop health and BH programs from the ground up across the hospital outpatient departments to acute care settings to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions of care. These programs have included a partial hospitalization program, MOUD Bridge-to-Treatment program, a 24/7 BH assessment team, a healthy lifestyle EAP, and student practicum programs.
